And let’s not forget about the stunning views you get to see when you’re up there, whether it’s over beautiful Australian landscapes or exotic overseas locations.

Elevate your Whitsundays adventure to new heights with a thrilling skydiving experience. Enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean as you jump from up to 15,000 feet, reaching speeds of up to 200 km/h in free fall. This is the only beach skydive in the Whitsundays region.

* You won't be able to take any camera equipment with you ( eg, Gopro, phone or camera) as you need to be a licensed skydiving to do that 

What to expect on the day of your jump

  • Please allow up to 6 hours for the whole experience.
  • Your booking time is your bus pick-up time. 
  • We will be driving 35 minutes south of Airlie Beach to our dropzone in Laguna Quays.
  • Once your details are confirmed you will be assigned a flight number and instructor.
  • Your Tandem Master will give you a safety briefing and harness you up before heading to the plane.
  • There is a 20-minute flight to altitude with spectacular views.
  • Experience 60 seconds of exhilarating freefall at speeds of up to 200 km/h 
  • Enjoy 5-7 minutes under parachute. Ask your instructor to take a turn at flying the parachute if you are feeling adventurous!

what to wear / bring with you

  • Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day.
  • It is essential to wear enclosed footwear such as sneakers or running shoes. Flip flops or sandals are not permitted.
  • We will provide you with goggles, including an oversize option if you wear glasses.
  • If you have long hair I would braid or plait it.
  • Avoid consuming copious amounts of food immediately before the skydive.
  • We advise applying sunscreen and staying well hydrated.

minimum requirements for skydiving

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Visitors under 18 require written consent from a parent or guardian.
  • No maximum age limit (even adrenaline-seekers in their 70s and 80s are welcome!)
  • Basic fitness and good general health are required for safety. If you are unsure whether you meet minimum requirements contact us for an individual assessment.
  • 115kg is the maximum weight allowed. Please note that a weight surcharge applies for 95kg+, surcharge would be paid on the day

family & friends

  • Transport: spectators are welcome if they have their own transport from Airlie Beach, we do not take spectators on our skydive bus. 
  • Take off: family and friends can hang out at our premises and watch skydivers board the plane and take off. 
  • Landing: please note that we land on 3 different beaches in the Laguna Quays / Midge Point area, depending on the wind direction on the day.  If you land on our exclusive private beach we regret that spectators cannot be accommodated.  Give us a call the day before your skydive to see if this is likely.
